Remove the collaborator from Chartbeat

Complete these steps when the collaborator should no longer log into Chartbeat.

Removal Steps

  1. Open Settings → Users and locate the collaborator’s account.
  2. Click Remove User or, if you prefer to retain the record, change the role to No Access and uncheck all site permissions.
  3. If SSO is enforced, remove the account from the corresponding IdP group to prevent automatic reprovisioning.
  4. Save the change and confirm the user no longer appears under Active Users.

Evidence to Capture

  • Export the user list as CSV or take a screenshot showing the removal.
  • Note the change in your IAM tracker, including the requester, approval, and ticket reference.
  • Send confirmation to the collaborator’s engagement lead.

Clean-Up

  • Transfer ownership of dashboards or alerts the collaborator’s account managed to a client admin.
  • Rotate any API keys or passwords stored with the account.
  • If the account received email alerts, update distribution lists to avoid bounce backs.
