Add User Access

Use this runbook when you need to grant partner teams or client stakeholders access to TikTok Ads.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm the requestor has administrator or user-management rights in TikTok Ads.
  • Validate that the user has completed any required security training or agreements.
  • Gather the user’s business email, timezone, and the campaigns or accounts they should manage.

Invite Workflow

  1. Sign in to TikTok Ads with an admin-level profile.
  2. Navigate to the platform’s user administration area and start a new invitation.
  3. Select the appropriate account, advertiser, or campaign scopes before entering the user’s details.
  4. Assign the minimum roles needed for the work they will perform.
  5. Send the invite and notify the requester with the expected completion timeframe.

Post-Invite Follow-Up

  • Track the invitation status until it is accepted.
  • Document the roles that were applied in your access log.
  • Schedule a reminder to review access in the next quarterly audit cycle.
