Use this checklist when responsibilities shift and a user’s access needs to change in Snapchat Ads.
Assessment
- Confirm the new responsibilities with the requester and business owner.
- Review existing access to avoid redundant or conflicting permissions.
- Check for dependencies such as automated rules, billing contacts, or API usage.
Change Execution
- Open the user’s profile inside Snapchat Ads and adjust the assigned roles or scopes.
- Document the justification for the change in your IAM or ticketing system.
- Notify the user of the update and provide any required onboarding materials.
Monitoring
- Schedule a follow-up to confirm the user can complete their tasks with the new access.
- Capture proof of change (screenshots or exports) for compliance archives.
- Flag the update for inclusion in the quarterly access review.
